The purpose of this course, of a theoretical/practical nature, is to make students aware of the main regulations regarding these issues through active student participation in the teaching process. Starting out from the basic concepts, students will study the recommended bibliography and then, under tutor supervision, will begin to learn the skills necessary to complete a number of tasks on their own, such as, for example: using sources of information on the rights held by this discipline; completing different types of processes relating to this subject; understanding the governing bodies for these matters and searching for or requesting the information they need; and taking the necessary steps to prevent illegal acts taking place. The course concentrates on the social and economic impact of competition laws and the defence of consumer rights.
